The Stumpjumper Alloy brings all of the new, lust-worthy features of the Stumpjumper—like new suspension kinematics and geometry—into a full-alloy package that's both lightweight and extremely durable. Top it off with a no-fuss SRAM SX 12-speed groupset and you have the perfect ride for your next trail adventure. TRAIL-TAMING TRAVEL All the travel in the world is useless without the proper kinematics, which is why we kept it at the forefront of the new Stumpjumper design. With the learnings from the suspension design on the Enduro, and over 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, we've greatly improved the pedaling performance, all while creating the capable, efficient, lively feelings that you long for. We increased anti-squat, so the suspension better-resists pedal bob, and then, we further-improved bump performance on square-edge hits. Bottom line? The all-new Stumpjumper descends with complete control yet climbs with ease. PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. Long, low, slack, a short offset fork, a steeper seat tube angle—they're all the talk of the town because they make your ride better. With Flip Chip adjustability you’re able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose.

This setup optimizes rear wheel travel, provides a playful and nimble rear end and a fast-rolling, stable front end. Frame sizes M and L come equipped with 29-inch wheels up front and in the rear with the ability to run a 27.5-inch wheel in the rear. This provides two unique riding characteristics – fast and comfortable or quick and nimble – allowing you to customize your setup for how and where you ride. *27.5-inch wheel sold separately for frame sizes M and L TECHS & FEATURES: MAESTRO SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY - Four strategically positioned pivot points and two linkages all work together to create a single floating pivot for the most active, efficient and independent suspension system on the trail. OVERDRIVE - Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, this fork steerer tube technology uses oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness. TUBELESS SYSTEM - Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant’s Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits. FLIP CHIP - MAESTRO 3 - This all-new technology allows you to quickly adjust the geometry of your bike to better suit riding conditions and rear-wheel size choice. Using two different flip chips – a combination of high/ low and a dedicated mid-position chip – riders can change the head tube angle, seat tube angle, and bottom bracket height using eccentric hardware located on the upper rocker arm of the rear suspension. ALUXX SL ALUMINUM TECHNOLOGY - This high-performance, state-of-the-art aluminum material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for high-performance ride quality. ADVANCED FORGED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY - A state-of-the-art, high-pressure molding process used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer, and stronger than similar aluminum components.

In order to bring EVO fun to the masses, we took our FACT 11m carbon frame (yes, the same one as the S-Works), dressed it with a bullet-proof SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain and a tough-as-nails set of alloy wheels, and set it loose to shred unsuspecting trails everywhere. - All the travel in the world is useless without the proper shock tuning and kinematics. For the new Stumpjumper EVO design, we prioritized kinematic performance. Applying lessons learned while developing the Enduro, then following that with more than 1,000 hours of field and suspension lab development, we've not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but we've made it more capable, agile, and lively. We increased anti-squat, so the suspension better resists pedal bob, and we further improved bump performance on square-edge hits. Bottom line? This thing shreds trails, not legs. - The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is our most progressive yet. Long, low, slack, short offset fork, steeper seat tube angle – these are requirements for modern progressive riding. But not everyone jibs the same way, which is why the geo on the new Stumpjumper EVO is fully adjustable with six different settings. You can adjust the BB height by 10mm, you can adjust your head angle by two-degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other. Finally, if you want to go full-party mullet-mode, the EVO lets you run a 27.5-inch rear wheel mated with a 29-inch front. - Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you're a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you'll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight. - We introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room IN your frame for those "oh sh**t" necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant. With the new Stumpjumper, we have increased the volume and added a SWAT™ Bladder, giving you an extra 22oz of water storage – the same size as a small water bottle – hidden in your downtube.

With the all-new Stumpjumper Expert, we've bottled up that "new bike day" feeling and put it into a radical new trail bike so agile, so lively, so in-tune with the trail, that it feels like an extension of your body. Levitate up the climbs. Decimate the descents. The Stumpjumper Expert is going to make you rethink how a trail bike should ride. The Trail Benchmark When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability; a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively; geometry that improves everyone's riding; and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper. The Sweetest 130mm of Travel You'll Ever Ride We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity-fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor. Progressive Geometry The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It's long, low, and slack with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you're able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose. Rider-First Engineered Rider-First Engineered frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensure benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you're a jump-happy grom riding an S1 or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you'll experience the same ride traits—rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness—at the lightest-possible weight, And, by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock). SWAT We introduced the SWAT door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room IN your frame for those "oh sh*t" necessities like pumps and spare tubes and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant.
